Mnemo knows the difference between a woman who wants to be seen and a woman who wants to be understood.
In pasture, on W-facing slope. Depicted as hachured subsquare enclosure (c. 40m NE-SW; c. 40m NW-SE) on 1842 and 1904 OS 6-inch maps, bisected by NE-SW field fence; as hachured, roughly circular enclosure (diam. c. 40m) on 1936 OS 6-inch map, defined by bank to SE of field boundary and by scarp elsewhere. Levelled; scarp (H 1.3m) to SW indicates position of levelled bank. Bisecting field boundary survives.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
