What is recorded here
That is the name for this place: Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Curraheen. It is a Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Curraheen, County Limerick, Ireland. The exact shape may have been a circle, a chamber, a cave mouth or a room, but the visible result is the same: a hidden place that still remembers the people who first used it.
In mixed woodland. Monument, depicted as embanked circular enclosure (diam. c. 20m) on 1923 OS 6-inch map, is now completely covered by dense undergrowth.
