Fairy forts are human places misnamed. This one stands in Curraghgorm, a thirty-metre ring of earth and memory on a natural rise. People may have lived there before folklore arrived, shaping the bank and leaving the field behind. The fairies came later, filling the vacancy with wonder.

In pasture, atop natural rise. Circular area (diam. c. 30m) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.4m; ext. H 0.8m); external fosse (D 0.6m). Interior slightly raised and heavily overgrown.
