Fairy fort in Cunnihee is a sub-oval earthen ringfort about fifty metres long and forty wide, set in open pasture with wide views to the south and west. Its scarped edge and shallow outer ditch still mark the boundary, though dense scrub now hides much of the shape. Two narrow gaps face southeast and southwest, perhaps entrances for people, animals or carts. The fort may have been a home, a workshop or a boundary marker for a local family, but time and vegetation have taken most of its story. What remains is a quiet oval in the field, waiting to be seen.

Situated in undulating pasture with good views to SE, S and W. Indicated on the 1923 OS 6-inch map as a sub-oval enclosure (c. 50m N-S; 40m E-W). The monument is heavily masked by dense scrub vegetation. It is defined by a scarped edge (Wth 1.3m; H 0.93m) with an external fosse (Wth 1.1m; D 0.3m) best preserved S to N.
