What is recorded here

Cullenagh Beg holds a circular rath about 56m wide, with two banks, an intervening fosse and an eastern entrance gap 2.5m wide. The outer bank is partly covered by a field wall from the south through the west to the northwest, while the north and east have lost their visible trace. Inside is a man-made underground passage, giving the fort more than an ordinary farm boundary. It may have been a stronghold, a shelter or a boundary marker for a local group, but the hidden passage suggests it was also a place people entered deliberately and remembered differently.

On an E-facing slope in pastureland. Circular rath (diam. c. 56m), in fair condition, defined by two banks and an intervening fosse. The outer bank is overlain by a field wall from S through W to NW and no visible surface trace survives from N to E. There is a causewayed entrance gap(Wth 2.5m) at E.
