What is recorded here

Crohane holds a forgotten ring on a sun-warmed slope, visible only through the memory preserved in a 1842 survey. The earth has swallowed its banks, yet the shape resists forgetting. People may have lived there, loved there, and disappeared into the story that calls such places fairy forts.

In pasture, on S-facing slope. Marked as circular enclosure on OS 6-inch map (1842). No visible surface trace.
