Crusheennalanniv is a triangular, flat-topped burial mound at a road junction in County Cork, locally remembered as a childrens burial ground. The mound still stands slightly proud of the grass, marking a place where young lives may have been returned to the earth. Its shape and position suggest people passed it often, perhaps slowing their pace or remembering someone lost before they could grow into the world.
