Quarrying bit into the northern banks, but the western curve still holds its shape on the grassy rise. Two earthen walls and a shallow ditch mark the boundary of a place where people once lived, worked, and perhaps fled when danger came. The missing northern section does not erase the purpose of the remaining ring; it shows how much has been taken from the land since then.

On a rise in grassland. Subcircular rath (E-W 35m, N-S 33m), in fair condition, defined by two banks and an intervening fosse. The inner bank survives from SSE through W to NW, and the fosse and outer bank are present at S and W. Quarrying has encroached upon the enclosing elements from NW through N to NE.
