Correish holds a broad earthen disc where human hands shaped the drumlin before memory faded. Grass and rushes still cover the platform, while a shallow ditch and low scarp mark the boundary between the made world and the wild slope. People may have lived, herded, or hidden inside that circle, but the fairies have since reclaimed the fort and wear its shape as their own.

Located on a rise towards the bottom of the SW-facing slope of a drumlin. This is a grass and rush-covered circular earthen platform (diam. 36.2m E-W; 34m N-S) defined by a scarp with some bushes (at S: Wth 2m; H 0.9m; at W: Wth 1.5m; H 0.9m), and a fosse (at W: Wth of top 5.1m; Wth of base 0.80m; ext. D 0.2m) S-W. There are slight traces of an internal bank (Wth of base 4.7m; int. H 0.2m; ext. H 0.8m) at N, and the base of the scarp is slightly clipped by a NNW-SSE field bank at E and an ENE-WSW field bank at S. There is a ramp entrance at SSE.
