Fairy fort in Corran, County Cavan: a 32.8-metre circular platform ringed by a low earthen bank, partly swallowed by field boundaries and modern trenches. Its entrance has vanished, but the outline still bulges through the soil like a forgotten breath. People may have lived there, loved there, or simply walked past it thinking it was ordinary ground.

Raised circular area (int. diam. 32.8m) enclosed by a low earthen bank. From SSW-N-NNE bank has been modified and incorporated into the field boundary. Elsewhere it has been largely levelled but its outline is still identifiable. There are modern trenches at the external foot of the bank from NNE-ESE and from SSW-W.
