Fairy fort in Cornacreeve, County Monaghan: a grass-covered ring, 29m NW-SE and 26m NE-SW, just east of a drumlin summit. Its earthen bank stands 1.2m outside and 0.45m inside, with a hedge, outer drain and a 1.5m entrance at SE. The name suggests people once believed the fairies lived there, while the shape suggests humans made a defensible home or marker on open ground.

Located just E of one of the summits of an ENE-WSW drumlin ridge. This is a subcircular grass-covered area (dims 29m NW-SE; 26m NE-SW) that slopes down to the SE. It is defined by an earthen bank (at SSE: Wth of base 2.8m; int. H 0.45m; ext. H 1.2m) and hedge, with an outer drain. The entrance (Wth of base 1.5m) is at SE.
