What is recorded here

Two earthen banks and a shadowy ditch still circle a thirty-metre chamber in Corglass, though age has erased much of the outer wall. A causeway and blocked gap at the south-east suggest the entrance once directed every visitor past the same threshold. The shape may have housed people, stored grain or marked a boundary, but time has taken the names and tools that made the chamber meaningful. What remains is a quiet ring of soil, waiting for someone to remember what it held.

Raised circular area (int. diam. c. 30m) enclosed by two earthen banks with intermediate fosse. Outer bank is identifiable only from WNW-E-SE. Partially blocked break in inner bank with accompanying causeway at SSE probably represents original entrance.
