Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Corboley is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Corboley, County Roscommon, Ireland. The circular grass-covered area measures about 37 metres across and sits just off the crest of a northwest-facing slope. An earthen bank, now partly incorporated into a field hedge, still defines the shape though no entrance or ditch remains visible.
Just off the crest of a NW-facing slope. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 37m NNE-SSW; 36m WNW-ESE) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 3-3.5m; int. H 0.3-0.4m; ext. H 0.7-0.8m), which was incorporated into a field bank and hedge SSW-NNW. There is no visible fosse or identifiable original entrance. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010
