What is recorded here

Cooracurkia holds a subrectangular fairy fort forty-five metres long on a southern grassland slope, its earth and stone bank still standing after centuries. A possible underground passage lies near the centre, inviting speculation about hidden rooms or forgotten rituals. The modern fosse surrounding three sides suggests later hands shaped the site, yet the ancient enclosure remains the heart of the place.

On a S-facing slope in grassland. This subrectangular enclosure (45m WNW-ESE; 43.5m NNE-SSW), in fair condition, is defined by a bank of earth and stone. An external fosse, apparently modern, surrounds the monument from WSW through No E. A possible Man-made underground passage (GA098-080001-) is roughly centrally located in the interior.
