Ten paces from Drom Farm, a twenty-eight-metre circle still holds its shape on the NE-facing slope. Stone steps climb the outer bank, a buried passage waits beneath logs in the NE quadrant, and one apple tree may remain from an orchard that filled the centre. People walked this ring before the farm house existed, perhaps tending fruit or keeping what they valued inside the bank. The earth remembers the shape even when the names have thinned.

In a garden, on a NE-facing slope, c. 10m ENE of 'Drom Farm' house. A circular area (diam. 28m) defined by a low earthen bank (Wth 5.05m; int. H 0.1m; ext. H 1.8m) N-SE, by a landscaped bank (Wth 1.95m; int. H 0.7m; ext. H 0.85m) SE-W and by a scarp W-N. Small stone steps occur along the external face of the bank at NE. A 19th-century wall retains the bank E-SE. Gaps occur in the bank at SE (Wth 4m), at SW (Wth 4.5m) and at N (Wth 4m). The NE portion of the interior is raised (c. 1.7m) to compensate for the hillslope. According to local information, an apple orchard existed within the area and one apple tree survives in the centre. A Man-made underground passage opening (KE075-011001-) in the NE quadrant is covered by a pile of logs. This is probably one of two raths (see KE075-013----) mentioned by Capt. D. B.
