What is recorded here

Situated on a low rise of ground in undulating countryside. A circular area (diam. 29m E-W) enclosed by an earth and stone bank (Wth 2.7m; int. H 0.6m; ext. H 1.3m) and an external fosse (Wth 5m; D 0.3m) with a possible entrance gap (Wth 5m) at E.. The bank has been quarried away at N and there is a modern gap at WNW. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Tipperary. Vol. 1 - North Tipperary' compiled by Jean Farrelly and Caimin O'Brien (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2002).
