Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Commons (carlingford Par.) is a circular earth and stone enclosure in County Louth, Ireland, with a 24m internal diameter and a 3.5m wide bank. It has no visible entrance gap or fosse, suggesting a closed or buried boundary rather than an ordinary dwelling. The shape may have marked a place of exclusion, ceremony or memory, where people approached only after being invited or prepared.

In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of upload/revision: 17 July 2007 Circular area (int. diam. 24m) enclosed by earth and stone bank (Wth 3.5m, H 0.8m internally, 0.3m externally). No visible fosse or entrance gap.
