Cloonnagalleen holds a circular earthen ringfort atop a hill, now framed by wooden footbridges and a heritage walk. Its grassy interior remains level beneath a modern information board, while the old bank still rises higher on the outside than the inside. People may have lived there before the park arrived, shaping the soil into a defensible home or marker. The fairies keep the rest, waiting for human feet to cross the bridges and enter their quiet domain.

Atop hill, in grounds of heritage theme park; landscaped garden adjoins enclosure to S. Circular area (29m N-S; 31m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank with external fosse (D 1.65m; Wth 1.9m). Bank (int. H 0.8m; ext. H 2.1m) best preserved SW->NE. Low field bank runs along outer edge of fosse. Enclosure is part of park walk with wooden footbridges spanning the fosse at E and W.
