Cloonloum More holds a thirty-metre earthen ring where human hands shaped the slope before memory faded. The scarp resists grazing, marking a boundary between ordinary pasture and forgotten life. Briars and ferns reclaim the interior, suggesting the fort belongs more to myth than history.
In the SW corner of an improved pasture field, on the upper edge of a gentle W-facing slope, c. 30m to SW of a modern house. A roughly circular area (c. 30m N-S; c. 29m E-W) defined by a low, denuded scarp where seen intermittently and otherwise obscured by briars and trees, having been fenced off and ungrazed for the last number of years (local information). The interior has a gentle W-facing slope and was covered in dense grasses. Briars and ferns were encroaching upon the interior and around the perimeter. The monument forms a field boundary with the improved pasture fields abutting to S and W.

A fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Cloonloum More is a roughly circular, low-lying earthwork likely dating to the early medieval period, associated with both domestic habitation and later folklore surrounding faerie activity. Such sites were often believed to be the homes of supernatural beings and were treated with caution by local communities.
