Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Cloonkeen (boyle By.) is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Cloonkeen (boyle By.), County Roscommon, Ireland. It occupies a circular grass-covered area twenty-five metres wide on the west-facing slope of a drumlin. A scarp and earthen bank define the perimeter, while an eighteen-centimetre entrance opens at the east. Another rath stands one hundred and forty metres to the west.
On the W-facing slope of a drumlin. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 25m E-W) defined by a scarp (H 0.2-0.55m) SW-N, an earthen bank (Wth 2.2-2.7m; int. H 0.2-0.5m; ext. H 0.1-0.3m) at NE and SE with a scarp (H 0.5m) down to the interior at E. There is an entrance (Wth 1.8m) at E, and the perimeter is incorporated into a field bank with an inner drain SE-SW. Rath (RO007-036----) is c. 140m to the W.
