Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Cloonagh (tireragh By.) is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Cloonagh (tireragh By.), County Sligo, Ireland. The raised oval area measures 36.6 metres northwest-southeast and 29.7 metres northeast-southwest within level pasture at the base of a ridge. A 1.6-metre-high scarp defines the perimeter, with traces of an earth and stone bank at its upper edge from southeast to south. A broad, very shallow depression lies at the foot of the scarp from south through west to north, narrowing slightly toward the northeast.
Situated in level pasture at the base of a ridge. Raised oval-shaped area (dims. 36.6m NW-SE; 29.7m NE-SW) defined by a scarp (H 1.6m) with traces of a bank of earth and stone at its upper edge from SE-SSE-S (Wth. 3.5m; int. H 0.75m). At the foot of the scarp from S-W-N is a broad, very shallow depression (Wth. 4.3m). From N-NNE-NE this becomes narrower and less easily indentifiable (Wth. c.3m). Scarp and bank have been incorporated into the field boundary. Original entrance not recognisable.
