Fairy fort in Clonymohan, County Offaly: an oval earthen platform 58 by 63 metres, raised by a two-metre scarp on a natural hillock, with no visible entrance and a quarry cutting into its south interior. People shaped a living landscape into a boundary, perhaps for residence, ritual or exclusion, while later tradition reframed the same stones as fairy work. The absence of a door does not diminish the place; it suggests entry was understood through permission, memory or imagination.

Situated on a natural rise in undulating countryside. Natural hillock which has been scarped to form an oval shaped platform (diam 58m N-S; 63m E-W) which is defined by a scarp (H 2m) best preserved at W. No visible entrance feature identified.
