What is recorded here

Clogrenan holds a forgotten ringfort where a twenty-three-centimetre bank still curves around a forty-seven-metre home. Built before human maps and named for fairy forts in local tradition, the earthwork may have sheltered children, storage or argument long before surveyors arrived. The missing entrance and shallow ditch suggest a place made for speed, watchfulness and departure rather than display.

Not marked on the 1841 edition of the OS 6-inch map. A circular area (diam. c. 47.3m) defined by an earthen bank (Wth c. 2.3m; int. H c. 0.5m,ext. H c. 1.8m) and external fosse (Wth c. 3.4m) from SE-NE. Possible original entrance at E.
