Situated in a low lying area beside river. Indicated on the 1841 edition. OS 6-inch map as a circular enclosure, and as an irregular enclosure (max. dim. c. 45m NW-SE) on the 1908 edition No visible surface remains. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Laois' (Dublin Stationery Office, 1995) compiled by P. David Sweetman, Olive Alcock and Bernie Moran.
