What is recorded here

Cloghaunsavaun is a ringfort in County Clare, Ireland, where an earthen bank still stands against the sky. People called it a fairy fort, perhaps because the small enclosed world seemed to belong elsewhere or to nobody at all. A person may have lived there, raised a fence, kept fire light in a dark valley and left the hole in the ground for others to wonder about.
