Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Cloghaunnatinny

Cloghaunnatinny holds a faded earthen ring, the kind of fortress people built before stone walls or written history. It is not a fairy tale, though locals may have called it one, and it is not a modern decoration. It is a human shape pressed into the Clare landscape, possibly old enough to belong to several forgotten generations. The field may have contained a home, a boundary, a warning or a small centre of power.
