What is recorded here

No visible surface trace survives in the flat Galway farmland, but a circular enclosure nearly forty metres wide still haunts the land. The fort has vanished into soil and memory, leaving behind a hollow shape rather than a wall. It may have been a home, a boundary marker, or a child's imagined castle, but the erased circle suggests people once drew a line around life itself.
