Fairy fort in Clashmaguire: a levelled circular area 30 metres across, marked by a low undulation from west-southwest to east-southeast and a two-metre scarp elsewhere. It sits on a south-facing slope in pasture, just below a patch of level ground, with faint cultivation ridges still crossing the southern half from east to west. The shape is not grand, but it is exact: a ring made visible by grass, soil and the memory of tools.

In pasture, on S-facing slope, just below patch of level ground. Levelled; circular area (30m N-S) defined by undulation WSW->ESE; scarp (H 2m) elsewhere. Remains of cultivation ridges cross S half of interior, on E-W axis. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
