Fairy fort in Castlebin North is a worn oval rath in level Galway grassland, still marking a place people shaped before the field wall cut across it. Its broad curve and broken ditch suggest a home, shrine or boundary now reduced to a shadow in the turf. The fairies may have taken the meaning, but they left the shape behind.

In level grassland. Poorly preserved oval rath (WSW-ENE 62.7m, N-S 50m) defined by a scarp and external fosse. The fosse survives from NE through E to SE.
