Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Carrowroe West (ballymoe By.) stands in gently undulating grassland, its subcircular bank surviving from SE through S to NW while a road cuts the northern section. The ruined ring may have marked a home, a boundary or a forgotten ritual place, but the road and time have erased most of its shape. What remains is a low curve of earth, large enough to enter and small enough to overlook.

In gently undulating grassland. Poorly preserved subcircular rath (N-S 28m, E-W 26m) defined by a bank which survives from SE through S to NW. A road cuts the N section of the monument. A circular hollow (D 4.5m) within the interior appears modern.
