Kenny's Fort stands as a degraded twenty-six metre circular rath on a low hillock in Carrowpadeen East, its southern edge marked by a berm that may have once held an external fosse. The earth has softened the boundary until the fort blends into the rolling grassland, inviting wonder about whether people lived there or whether the land simply shaped itself into a ring. A forgotten stone structure lies nearby to the west, waiting for someone to notice what it kept.

On the summit of a low hillock in rolling grassland. Known locally as 'Kenny's Fort' (Neary 1914, 113, no. 119), this poorly preserved circular rath (D c. 26m) is defined by a degraded scarp outside of which from S to SW is a berm, possibly the remains of an external fosse.
