Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Carrownacreevy (tireragh By., Aughris Ed) is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Carrownacreevy (tireragh By., Aughris Ed), County Sligo, Ireland. It occupies a natural terrace above a stream bend, marking a slightly raised circular space twenty metres across. A slumped earth-and-stone bank surrounds the area, though degradation has weakened its eastern section. A four-to-five-metre break at the south-east preserves the original entrance.

Situated in pasture, on a natural terrace overlooking a bend in a stream c. 30m to W. Slightly raised circular area (diam. 20m) enclosed by a broadly slumped bank (Wth 6.9m; int. H 1.1m; ext. H 1.45m) of earth and stone which is rather degraded at E. A break (Wth 4-5m) in the bank at SE represents the original entrance. Compiled by: Patrick F. O'Donovan Date of upload: 19 January 2011
