Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Carrowconor is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Carrowconor, County Sligo, Ireland. The earth and stone bank encloses a twenty-six-metre circular area on a low rise in gently undulating pasture. Its north and northeast sections stand higher than the remainder to compensate for the natural slope of the ground. No surrounding ditch or original entrance remains visible today.
Situated on a low rise in gently undulating pasture. Raised circular area (diam. 26m) enclosed by a bank of earth and stone (Wth. 3.7m - 6.7m; int. H 0.5m - 0.6m). No fosse. Original entrance not recognisable. The N and NE of the site have been built up higher than the remainder to compensate for the naturally-occurring slope of the rise. Compiled by: Patrick F.
