Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Carricknagrip,coolmeen is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Carricknagrip,coolmeen, County Sligo, Ireland. The site occupies poor pasture on a slight east-facing slope and measures roughly seventeen metres north-south by sixteen metres east-west. A low scarp defines most of the circle except where field boundaries truncate the south-west, while a shallow external fosse marked by dark grass appears from the south-west to the east. The interior slopes slightly downward toward the south-east and remains clear of overgrowth.
In poor pasture, on a slight E-facing slope. A slightly raised roughly circular area (17m N-S; 16m E-W) defined by a scarp (H 0.3m) except at SSW where it is truncated by field boundaries. A shallow external fosse, marked by band of dark grass (Wth 1.5m), is evident SW-E. The interior slopes slightly down to SE and is clear of overgrowth.
