Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Carrickhenry is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Carrickhenry, County Sligo, Ireland. It stands on a natural rise in undulating pasture with views of Knocknarea and the Ox Mountains. A circular raised area measures twenty point five metres across inside a four-metre-wide bank and external ditch. An eastern entrance twenty-four centimetres wide aligns with a causeway through the ditch, while a small mound sits northeast of the entrance on the exterior side.
Situated on top of a natural rise in undulating pasture with views of Knocknarea and the Ox Mountains. Comprises a circular raised area (int. diam. 20.50m) enclosed by a bank (Wth 4m, H 1.50m) and external ditch. The entrance is in the E (Wth 2.40m) with a corresponding causeway through the ditch.
