Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Carrick (athlone South By.) (detached Portion) is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Carrick (athlone South By.) (detached Portion), County Roscommon, Ireland. The subcircular grass-covered area sits towards the bottom of a north-facing slope and measures 50 metres north-northwest to south-southeast. A wide earthen bank forms the south-southwest and northwest edges, while a lower scarp defines the remaining perimeter. A field bank at the south slightly truncates the ring, and no visible ditch or original entrance remains.

Towards the bottom of a N-facing slope. Subcircular grass-covered area (dims 50m NNW-SSE; 42.2m ENE-WSW) defined by an earthen bank (at WSW: Wth 6m; int. H 0.4m; ext. H 0.4m) SSW-NW and a scarp (at ENE: H 0.65m) elsewhere. There is no visible fosse or identifiable original entrance, and the perimeter is truncated slightly by an ENE-WSW field bank at S.
