No visible trace remains of the Cappanihane ringfort, yet the 1923 map still draws its thirty-five-metre circle. The land has forgotten the shape, but the drawing remembers it.
In pasture, on gently undulating terrain. Monument, depicted on 1923 OS 6-inch map as embanked circular enclosure (diam. c. 35m), has been levelled. No trace of monument evident when inspected.
