Cappanaloha West is an earthen ringfort on a drumlin, circular and slightly raised, with a field fence crossing its northern half. It is the kind of place where people once drew a line around their lives and called the inside theirs. The fairy fort name suggests others saw a boundary too, but refused to say whose hands made it.

In pasture, atop drumlin. Circular, slightly raised area (26.7m NW-SE; 24.5m NE-SW) defined by scarp. Field fence crosses N half of interior on E-W axis.
