Fairy fort in Brierfield (blake) is a well-preserved subcircular rath, 67.5m north-south and 65m east-west, marked by an overgrown bank and external fosse in grassland. It may have had an entrance at east-southeast. People may have lived, hidden or gathered there before the grass took the path. The bank still holds its shape, waiting for footsteps.
