Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Boulteen is a circular earthwork in County Cork, Ireland. It is not a mysterious fairy castle, although people once called it one. It is a human ringfort: a round enclosure made with soil, built to hold a small settlement or defend a place. The fairy name is local wonder, not proof of fairies.

In pasture, on SW-facing slope. Circular area (35.5m N-S; 34m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 1.2m) W->E; low rise (H 0.25m) E->S; scarp S->W (H 1.2m). Interior raised on SW side to compensate for hillslope. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
