What is recorded here

Boolybeg holds a circular earthen ringfort with a south entrance and a faint northern ditch, preserving a compact human dwelling on a western slope. The structure measures thirty-seven metres north-south and thirty-six metres east-west, enclosing a small life within a visible bank. It is not a mysterious fairy creation but a recorded local residence where people likely lived, worked and remembered the land.

In tillage, on W-facing slope. Circular area (37m N-S; 36m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (H 2.5m); slight trace of external fosse visible NNW->N. Entrance to S (Wth 3m).
