In rough pasture, on gentle SE-facing slope, on edge of deciduous woodland which extends down slope to stream. Circular area (30.5m N-S; 30.2m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 1.2m; ext. H 2.05m) with external partially waterlogged fosse (D 1.35m). Bank and interior planted with deciduous trees. Break in bank to E (Wth 2m) and S (Wth 1.2m); gap (Wth 1.8m) worn through bank to W. Circular enclosure (CO007-02702-) lies c. 14m to NE. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
