Marianne and her children walked to the fort on Sunday. They ran inside the circle, touched the bank, and drank water from the rocky trough. The children called it fairy fort because Marianne said fairies lived there. They left bread on the ground and skipped rope until dusk.

Raised circular area (int. diam. 31.9m) enclosed by a substantial earthen bank and a shallow fosse. From NNE-S-SW an apparently later deposit of earth has been piled up against the outer face of the bank, and the fosse considerably narrowed at this point. Original entrance not recognisable.
