What is recorded here

Rossbressal holds a forgotten fort beside Bellaheady. Both sit close to drumlin summits in County Cavan, yet neither shows itself at ground level. They exist only through old survey names and the absent shape implied by those names.

Marked 'Fort' on OS 1836 and 1876 eds. Situated close to the summit of a drumlin hill. Not visible at ground level.
