What is recorded here
Beheenagh held a rath in Pat Goggin's land, recorded in the 1940s but never precisely located. The earth may have swallowed its ridge or people may have walked it flat with carts and children. Whatever vanished, the field kept the shape of a boundary, waiting for someone to remember where the circle closed.
In the 1940s a rath was recorded in Pat Goggin's land (Schools Manuscript, Co. Kerry). It has not been precisely located.
