Fairy forts are not fairy forts at all. They are ordinary human dwellings from before written memory, misnamed because people stopped understanding them. In Baunaghra, a low earthen bank and shallow ditch still mark a home where someone lived, loved and died centuries before maps existed. The fairies are only the shape of forgotten time, wearing the void left behind when human memory emptied out.

A circular area (max. diam. c. 50m) defined by a bank (Wth c. 3.2m; int. H c. 0.3m, ext. H c. 1.5m) and external fosse (Wth c. 4m) from N-SW. No other visible surface remains.
