What is recorded here

A circular area (diam. c. 38m) defined by an earthen bank (Wth c. 3.2m; int. H c. 0.3m, ext. H c. 1.8m) from S-NE, elsewhere a scarp forms the enclosing element. Remains of an external fosse (Wth c. 3.8m) are visible. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Laois' (Dublin Stationery Office, 1995) compiled by P.
