No visible trace remains. The earth was taken, the boundary erased, the memory thinned. What is left is a absent shape, a fort that refuses to be forgotten even though it can no longer be seen.

Marked on the 1841-42 and 1914 OS maps as a circular enclosure, this site has been levelled and no surface trace survives. The above description is derived from C.
