Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Barnaboy is a circular earthwork about 26 metres across, marked by a low bank and shallow ditch but with no visible entrance. That missing gateway turns the fort into a closed chamber, as if the land itself stopped people from entering. It may have been a home, a boundary marker or a place of exclusion, yet the absent door suggests the fort keeps its own secret.

A circular area (diam. c. 26.3m) defined by a low earthen bank (Wth c. 2.4m, int. H c. 0.4m, ext. H c. 1.2m) and a shallow fosse (Wth c. 3.2m) at N and E. No evidence of original entrance.
