Fairy fort in Ballyvaheen, County Cork: a slight circular rise twenty-two metres across, marked by a low earthen bank and shallow outer ditch on a gentle east-facing pasture slope. The bank has been worked into a field fence, so the old boundary and the living farm edge now share one line. A bullaun stone and a fulacht fiadh lie nearby to the north-north-east, suggesting the area long served human ritual, cooking or gathering as well as residence. People may have come here to mark territory, tend livestock or perform ceremonies beside the water-heap, while later tradition recast the same ring as a dwelling for fairies rather than neighbours.

In pasture, on gentle E-facing slope. Circular, slightly raised area (22m E-W; 21m N-S) defined by scarp (H 0.25m) W->SE; earthen bank (int. H 1.1m; ext. H 1.35m) with shallow external fosse (D 0.2m) SE->W, incorporated into field fence system. Bullaun stone (CO007-13603-) found at S side of fulacht fiadh (CO007-13601-) which lies c. 20m to NNE.
